Family Series I / Sculpture
"Family Series I" by Odelle Morshuis, is an intricate recycled steel sculpture with a series of figures carved into the piece that can be viewed from different angles.
"My sculpture, like my paintings try and work within a framework. My figures are hand cut from recycled steel with a plasma cutter. I enjoy the negative shapes as much as the positive shapes. I regard the ‘view’ through to the environment in which the sculptures are placed being an integral part to the pieces".
