'SOLD / Golden Hearts / Early Work 2010
"Golden Hearts" by Santie Cronje is an original acrylic on canvas framed in a light tan frame. Created in 2010 this piece is part of Santie's Retrospective collection for our Birthday show until 19 June. Retrospective works have been in the artist's private collection as investment pieces and some of her personal highlights and memories.
"Golden Hearts" was painted shortly after my first sell out exhibition in 2009 at Inspirit Gallery, titled "If Godwits couldn't Fly" a series painted from the heart reflecting on my migration from South Africa to New Zealand. A love Story and a journey all combined.
The Godwits helped me understand that I am from two places. They helped me see my courage to have left my home and embrace a new life. This piece has never been for sale until now... a good eleven years on :)
Size: (w)380mm x (w)310mm on canvas beautifully framed, ready to hang.
