Rhipsalis 'Mauritania' / Hanging Basket

Rhipsalis (Subspecies 'Mauritania') / Mistletoe cactus 

Native to Central and South America, it produces pencil thin succulent stems that may reach up to 6 feet. Small white flowers can appear year round in the right conditions. This plant is best suited for hanging baskets or pots in a high position. 

A tropical plant, Rhipsalis requires indirect light to partial shade. While most cacti are found in hot, sunny, arid zones, mistletoe cactus is unique in its requirements for moisture and partial shade.

Indoors

Light: Good indirect light to partial shade.
Water: Mistletoe needs more frequent watering than other succulents with free draining soil. Water once top soil becomes dry and less during Winter months.
Nursery Pot Size: 17cm
