Artist Bio
Award winning Ceramic artist, Helen Perrett enjoys making works with a slightly fantastical quality. Her work is essentially illustrative/narrative in theme, referencing her interests in travel, language, art history, animals, gardening and reading.
A love for literature, mythology, children’s book illustrations and the rich history of ceramics are a constant source of inspiration.
Helen works mainly in terracotta and most of her sculptural works are finished with layers of coloured slips and oxide washes.
