Artist Bio

Santie Cronje has called New Zealand home since 1999. Originally from South Africa and through small beginnings, she is the proud owner of Deciduus & Santie with her partner Shane Berger. A visual storyteller at heart, her paintings & digital artworks are closely connected to her life experiences, travels, thoughts and surroundings. 

Santie studied Art at school from age sixteen and completed a Bachelors of Arts at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1994. She has been part of the New Zealand Gallery scene since 2008 and has been a regular exhibitor, both in Solo & Group shows for over 14 years. Santie's work is showcased at their Tirau Concept Gallery as well as a handful of galleries in both North and South Island. Her work has found homes near and far accross the waters, with a loyal collector support following her on an ever evolving journey.
