Artist Bio

Cambridge based photographer, Jane Oldershaw has a passion for preserving the beauty of flowers and capturing the colours, texture and shapes that nature creates. Floriography and the meaning and symbolism of flowers, in history, often inspire her creations and compositions.

According to numerous scientific studies, flowers have positive effects on the brain; they elevate our mood, reduce stress and promote healing. Her hope is for her images to induce feelings of wellbeing in the beholder, and a deeper appreciation of the magic found in our gardens.
