'Moonshadow' by Santie Cronje, was created using a combination of brush & palette knife in a muted colour pallette. Inspired by a small ceramic bowl Santie created on the wheel when she was 18. It is still in her posession today, partly broken but glued back again. Just as we are.

Artist Bio
Santie Cronje is a multi disciplinary Artist and Gallery owner of Deciduus & Santie, with her horticulture partner Shane Berger. As a visual storyteller her paintings are closely connected to her life experiences, travels, thoughts and surroundings. Originally from South Africa, New Zealand has been home since 1999.
Santie studied Art at school from age sixteen and completed a Bachelors of Arts at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1994. Her work is held in private collections in New Zealand and abroad.
